Orders & Specifications

You acknowledge that all orders (however place) which we recieve will be subject to these conditions. You shall ensure the fullness and accuracy of any order. We shall not be responsible for duplication of any order: you must state clearly if any comunication to us is merely a confirmation of a previous order rather than being a new order.
We will notify you if the goods ordered are not available and unless you cancel the order we will hold it until the stock becomes available.

Price & Payment

Published prices are correct at the time of printing but may be changed by us at any time.
In addition to the price you shall pay:
any applicable VAT, Import duties and the cost of postage and insurance. (for orders outside EU only)
No credit accounts are available.

Delivery & Risk

Orders recieved by 5.30 pm on a normal working day will usually be despatched the next 2 to 3 working days but time will not be of the essence unless agreed in writing. Delivery in instalments shall constitute separate contracts; you may not treat the contract as a whole as repudiated if we fail to deliver any particular installment.
Returned goods will be accepted, only if authorisation has be given previously. We may repair, replace or refund the price paid for the returned goods at our discretion but we shall have no further liability to you. Risk in returned goods shall not pass until they are recieved in our premises and you shall be responsible for providing evidence of reciept if requested by us to do so and for all transport and other costs.

Insurance

UK - parcels delivered via 1st class Royal Mail will pay compensation for loss or damage for the first £36 only.

EU - All parcels will be automatically be despatched via signed for airmail and will require a signature on reciept.
If you would like shipping insurance in the EU please select the airamil signed for (insured) option. Please note that parcels of a high value may automatically be charged additional insurance.

ROW - Please note that some countries will not accept registered or insured mail. ie. S. Africa, America, Canada etc. All parcels will be automatically be despatched via signed for airmail and will require a signature on reciept.

Liability

Goods supplied will be covered by manufacturers warranty.
We shall not be liable for any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, abnormal use, neglect, alteration or repair of the goods without prior approval.
Customers must notify us of a damaged parcel/product or short delivery within 3 working days of reciept.
All returns must be returned within 7 days of the return authorisation being granted.

VAT

Prices quoted on the website include VAT at the standard rate of 17.5%. Orders will be despatched without VAT outside EU. Orders within the EU can only be supplied without VAT on reciept of a valid VAT registration number.

For parcels over 2000gr (2kg) We will either send a second parcel up to 2000gr, or if it is cheaper;
use a Courier we will search for the best quote and use a courier. If you are unsure please email.

Signed for mail are covered up to £36only for loss or damage during transit.
Signed for Insured are covered up to £250 for loss or damage during transit

WEEE Regulations:

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.

• Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.

• Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.

Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

Pendle Slot Racing is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.

For example, if a customer bought a new Power Supply from us we would accept their old Power Supply and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:

Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
