Fly BMW M1 Art Car Frank Stella.

Since 1975, BMW has collaborated with renowned international artists to turn BMW vehicles into works of art. Although the artwork on this BMW M1 was created by Frank Stella, who in 1976 painted the second official BMW Art Car (BMW 3.0 CSL), this BMW M1 won’t be found on the official BMW Art Car list. However, this BMW M1 has rich history behind it. Designed by Frank Stella himself, it was commissioned and owned by the late racing legend, Peter Gregg, and was dedicated to the memory of Ronnie Peterson. Peterson originally raced Stella’s BMW 3.0 CSL Art Car, the second of the series, at the 1976 24 Hours of Le Mans.
